Welcome to the Big Picture High School. This will be an exciting year. Everything we do will be the first for our school as we create a strong academic culture, rich in tradition.

I am your water carrier. I became your water carrier when I became the principal of the Big Picture High School. I am a water carrier of the Big Picture philosophy and of my own individual passions and skills.

In the life of an American Indian tribe the water carrier held one of the most important respected positions. Water, like food and air is essential for survival.

As your water carrier I will become the storyteller, a custodian of the history and values and culture of the school. My goal is to translate your interests and passions into learning, linking you to learning in the real world.

I am a Big Picture water carrier because of my compassion, sense of history, ability to teach, and an unshakable commitment to the school. I am looking forward to our first day of school and all of the days that follow.
